Chat limits
Bro Battles limits how quickly an account can send chat messages and reactions. These safeguards help keep party and battle chat readable, fair, and useful during a match.
When chat is briefly paused
Sending several messages or reactions in quick succession can trigger a short cooldown. The composer may temporarily disable and show a reminder to slow down. Your draft is kept so you can send it after the cooldown ends.
The limits apply to your account across party chat and battle chat. Opening another tab, joining a different party or match, or changing devices will not bypass a cooldown. Limits may be adjusted as the game evolves, so the interface is the best source for your current status.
Repeated spam and suspensions
Repeatedly hitting the limit can lead to warnings and then a temporary chat suspension. While suspended, you cannot send messages or add reactions; the chat interface shows the remaining time when it is available.
More serious or repeated abuse can result in a longer restriction or an account action. Do not create or use another account to get around a chat restriction.
What you should do
Wait until the cooldown or suspension ends, then resume at a normal pace. Avoid repeatedly pressing Send, retrying a reaction, or sending the same message from multiple tabs.
If a restriction appears to remain after its displayed time has passed, contact support. Include your username, the approximate time, whether you were in party or battle chat, and the notice you saw. Never send your password, cookies, session tokens, or payment details.
