Multiple tabs

Opening Bro Battles in more than one tab does not create extra progress, rewards, or party slots. Every tab signed into the same account is still the same player.

In the lobby

Two lobby tabs can show the same account, but actions may arrive in an unexpected order. For example, one tab can display an older party selection after the other tab changes it. Keep one main lobby tab active when choosing a fighter, changing party settings, or readying up.

During a battle

Only one tab or device can control your fighter. If the same account joins the live battle somewhere else, the newest battle connection takes over and the older one stops controlling that fighter.

Running the arena twice also uses extra memory and network traffic. Close the unused battle tab for smoother play.

Does switching tabs pause the game?

No. Online matches continue on the server. Browsers may slow a background tab, so return to the game tab promptly if you switch away. If the connection drops, use the lobby’s rejoin option while the match is still live.
